Your all-day beginners’ session comprises:
- consideration of the health and safety aspects of lampworking;
- an introduction to the equipment and materials used;
- my demonstrations and your practice of a wide variety of lampworking techniques, from making a plain glass bead to adding creative decorative effects beyond your imagination!
Treat yourself to your own exclusive lampwork experience – or bring a friend and learn together – in a friendly and safe creative environment. You will get to keep all the beads we make during your session (including my demonstration beads), which will be posted on to you after being kiln annealed for lasting strength. You can expect to produce eight to ten beads yourself.
Teaching time runs from 10.00am to 4.30pm, including an hour’s break for lunch. A delicious homemade lunch is included.
Dates are by mutual arrangement and are simply a matter of synchronising diaries. I have the facilities to teach up to two people at a time.
