Blue sky summer selling

Summer is here at last! Rather too warm in the workshop sometimes, but one has to suffer for one’s art…!

A couple of weekends back I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon at Fletching village fete and dog show – I had a nice spot on which to pitch my gazebo, and I had a really good time chatting to people (and dogs!) and selling my wares. The need to wear gloves in July was, well, surprising, but at least the sun shone.

The Beadwork Fair at Ardingly was just as much fun, although given the glorious sunshine it would have been nice to take the gazebo to that event, too! Met lots of beady friends – existing ones and new ones – it was a busy busy show made even better by the sun streaming through the window.

You can see my next events on the Events page – there’s a date or two not yet confirmed, so keep an eye on the page for updates!
